''Land of Mine'' ( da, Under sandet, lit=Under the Sand) is a 2015 historical war drama film directed by Martin Zandvliet. It was shown in the Platform section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. It was selected and nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 89th Academy Awards. The film is inspired by real events and tells a story of German prisoners of war ordered to clear land mines in Denmark after World War II. It is estimated that more than 2,000 soldiers including a number of teenagers, under the command of German officers, removed mines. 169 of them lost their lives during the five months of mine clearing, 165 were severely wounded and 167 lightly wounded. The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The César Award is the national film award of France. It is delivered in the ' ceremony and was first awarded in 1976. The nominations are selected by the members of twelve categories of filmmaking professionals and supported by the French Ministry of Culture.
