Terramuggus is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Marlborough, Hartford County, Connecticut, United States. It contains the town center village and surrounding areas. The population was 1,025 at the 2010 census. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of , of which is land and , or 9.94%, is water. It is centered on Lake Terramuggus and includes part of the town center of Marlborough along its southeastern edge. Route 2 is a state highway in Hartford and New London counties in Connecticut. It is a primary state route, with a limited-access freeway section connecting Hartford to Norwich and following surface roads to Stonington. The entire freeway section of Route 2 is also known as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Highway. Route 66 is a Connecticut state highway running from Meriden to Windham, serving as an alternate east–west route to US 6 through east-central Connecticut. Route description Route 66 officially begins at I-91 in Meriden as the extension of I-691, which officially ends at its interchange with I-91.
