Tenggerese People
The Tenggerese people are a sub-ethnic group of Javanese people, Javanese in eastern Java who claim to be the descendants of the Majapahit princes. Their population of roughly 100,000 is centered in 30 villages in the isolated Tengger mountains (Mount Bromo) in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park in eastern Java (island), Java. Scattered communities of Tenggerese also exist in the Pasuruan Regency, Pasuruan, Probolinggo Regency, Probolinggo, Malang Regency, Malang, and Lumajang Regency, Lumajang Regencies of Indonesia, Regencies of eastern Java. They are traditionally believed to be the descendants of legendary Roro Anteng and Joko Seger. The Tenggerese are considered an ethnic sub-group of the Javanese people. Politeness
Politeness is the practical application of good manners or etiquette so as not to offend others. It is a culturally defined phenomenon, and therefore what is considered polite in one culture can sometimes be quite rude or simply eccentric in another cultural context. While the goal of politeness is to refrain from behaving in an offensive way so as not to offend others and make all people feel relaxed and comfortable with one another, these culturally defined standards at times may be manipulated. Brahmi (; ; ISO: ''Brāhmī'') is a writing system of ancient South Asia. A regency ( id, kabupaten), sometimes incorrectly referred to as a district, is an administrative division of Indonesia, directly under a province and on the same level with city (''kota''). Regencies is divided into districts (''Kecamatan'', ''Distrik'' in Papua region, or ''Kapanewon'' in the Special Region of Yogyakarta). The English name "regency" comes from the Dutch colonial period, when regencies were ruled by ''bupati'' (or regents) and were known as ''regentschap'' in Dutch (''kabupaten'' in Javanese and subsequently Indonesian). Lumajang Regency
Lumajang Regency is a Regency (''kabupaten'') located in the East Java province of Indonesia. It covers an area of 1,790.90 sq. km, and had a population of 1,006,458 at the 2010 Census and 1,119,251 at the 2020 Census. It shares its land borders with Jember Regency (to the east), Probolinggo Regency (to the north), and Malang Regency (to the west), while it borders the Indian Ocean to the south. Malang Regency
The Malang Regency is a regency in East Java, Indonesia. Malang Regency is the second largest regency in East Java after Banyuwangi Regency, with a total area of 3,530.65 km2. Malang is rich in potential for agriculture, medicinal plants and tourism. Probolinggo Regency
Probolinggo Regency ( id, Kabupaten Probolinggo) is a regency in East Java province of Indonesia. It covers an area of 1,696.17 sq. km, and had a population of 1,096,244 at the 2010 Census and 1,152,537 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2021 was 1,155,894.
