TVSN (an acronym for "Television Shopping Network") is an Australian and New Zealand broadcast, cable television and satellite television network specializing in home shopping. It is owned by parent company Direct Group Pty Ltd, a home marketing and shopping company based in the Sydney suburb of Frenchs Forest, which also owns sister channel Expo. The channel broadcasts live every day from 08:30 to 21:30 AEST. History TVSN began broadcasting in 1995 from their Lane Cove, Sydney headquarters. It was soon listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1999 after sustaining some growth. In 2004, the network was acquired by Innovations Direct Group Pty Ltd, an Australian-based home shopping company which produces a number of direct catalogue publications, including Innovations and Homecare magazines. Direct Group is a direct marketing holding company operating in Australia and New Zealand. The company, founded in 1985, operates with three primary divisions: Direct marketing, direct selling and direct television. Expo Channel
Expo Channel is an Australian home shopping channel. It is owned by parent company Direct Group Pty Ltd, a marketing and direct sales company based in the Sydney suburb of Frenches Forrest, which also owns sister channel TVSN. History In 2002, Optus TV launched Expo Channel on its cable television platform. Today, the channel is broadcast 24 hours a day on the major Australian subscription television platforms, as well as Freeview in some areas. 10 HD
10 HD is an Australian free-to-air television channel that was originally launched on 16 December 2007 on channel 1. The channel was available to high definition digital television viewers through Network 10 owned-and-operated stations. The multichannel broadcast live sport, entertainment, films, documentaries, science fiction and news. The channel ceased broadcasting on 25 March 2009, and the following day was replaced by One HD (now known as 10 Bold). Following the government's decision to remove the SD Primary Channel limitations, the channel restored as an HD simulcast on 2 March 2016 on channel 13. On 16 September 2020, Network 10 moved 10 HD to digital channels 1 and 15 following the addition of 10 Shake from 27 September 2020. 10 Bold is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel owned by Network 10. It originally launched on 26 March 2009 as One HD with a focus on broadcasting sports-based programming and events, but rebranded to One in April 2011 to more reality, scripted and adventure-based programming aimed at males between the ages of 25 to 54. As of October 2018, the channel now primarily broadcasts dramatic programming aimed towards viewers 40 and older. 10 Shake is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel owned by Network 10. It launched on 27 September 2020 at 6am. The channel includes a mix of shows for people aged forty and under. It broadcasts programming for children from 6am to 6pm, and from 6pm to 6am shows for young teens to adults.
