The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence ( no, Utenriks- og forsvarskomiteen) is a standing committee of the Parliament of Norway. It is responsible for policies relating foreign affairs, military, development cooperation, Svalbard or in other polar regions and matters in general relating to agreements between Norway and other states or organizations. Standing Committee
A committee or commission is a body of one or more persons subordinate to a deliberative assembly. A committee is not itself considered to be a form of assembly. Usually, the assembly sends matters into a committee as a way to explore them more fully than would be possible if the assembly itself were considering them. Progress Party (Norway)
The Progress Party ( nb, Fremskrittspartiet; nn, Framstegspartiet; se, Ovddádusbellodat), commonly abbreviated as FrP, is a right-wing political party in Norway. Marit Arnstad
Marit Arnstad (born 4 May 1962) is a Norwegian lawyer and politician for the Centre Party. She is currently the party’s parliamentary leader since 2014, having previously held the office from 2003 to 2005. Arnstad was the Norwegian Minister of Transport from 2012 to 2013 and Minister of Petroleum and Energy from 1997 to 2000. Early and personal life Arnstad was born in Stjørdal, and is the daughter of tax assessor and farmer Arne Arnstad and nurse Aasta Auran, and twin sister of Eli Arnstad. Rigmor Aasrud (born 26 June 1960) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She served in the position of deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Oppland during the terms 1993–1997, 1997–2001 and 2001–2005. Bjørnar Moxnes (born 19 December 1981) is a Norwegian politician and activist representing the left-wing political party Rødt in Stortinget. Eva Kristin Hansen (born 5 March 1973 in Trondheim) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She briefly served as the President of the Storting from October to November 2021. Dag Inge Ulstein (born 4 December 1980) is a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party.
