Safefood
Safefood, stylised ''safe''food (also known as The Food Safety Promotion Board; FSPB)( ga, An Bord um Chur Chun Cinn Sabháilteachta Bia; Ulster-Scots: ''Tha Mait Safétie Fordèrin Boord'' or ''The Meat Sauftie Forder Buird''), is the public body responsible for raising consumer awareness of issues relating to food safety and healthy eating across the Ireland and Northern Ireland. Founded in 1999, Safefood is one of six North-South implementation bodies established jointly by the British and Irish governments under the terms of the British-Irish Agreement Act. Safefood's headquarters are in Little Island, Cork, with a second office in Dublin City centre. Structure Safefood is a multi-directorate organisation. Stop The Spread (Ireland)
Stop the Spread was a multi-media public health awareness campaign by Safefood aimed at tackling public misconception regarding overweightness and obesity in adults on the island of Ireland. The campaign was officially launched on 10 May 2011 at the Royal College of Physicians by Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children with responsibility for primary care, Róisín Shortall T.D. Campaign message A key message of the campaign was communicating new information to the public on waist sizes for men and women, and how to measure these correctly. Cork (city)
Cork ( , from , meaning 'marsh') is the second largest city in Ireland and third largest city by population on the island of Ireland. It is located in the south-west of Ireland, in the province of Munster. Following an extension to the city's boundary in 2019, its population is over 222,000. A healthy diet is a diet that maintains or improves overall health. The Good Friday Agreement (GFA), or Belfast Agreement ( ga, Comhaontú Aoine an Chéasta or ; Ulster-Scots: or ), is a pair of agreements signed on 10 April 1998 that ended most of the violence of The Troubles, a political conflict in Northern Ireland that had prevailed since the late 1960s. Dublin

North-South Ministerial Council
The North/South Ministerial Council (NSMC) ( ga, An Chomhairle Aireachta Thuaidh-Theas, Ulster-Scots: ) is a body established under the Good Friday Agreement to co-ordinate activity and exercise certain governmental powers across the whole island of Ireland. The Council takes the form of meetings between ministers from both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and is responsible for twelve policy areas.
