Centre Province is one of Burkina Faso's 13 administrative regions. The population of Centre Province was 1,727,390 at the 2006 census and increased by 75.6% in 13 years to 3,030,384 at the 2019 census (provisional figure), of which 50.8% was female. The Centre or the Région du Centre is a region within the province of Hainaut in Wallonia, Belgium. It is part of the Sillon industriel or industrial centre of Belgium. It is located between the cities of Mons (the Borinage), Charleroi and Thuin (the Pays Noir) and Brabant. Its most important town is La Louvière.
