He has been personally "credited with returning to the flute the popularity as a solo classical instrument it had not held since the 18th century." Rampal (spiritual Leader)
Rampal (born Rampal Singh Jatain on 8 September 1951) is an Indian religious cult leader of the Kabir Panth religious domination. Rampal is currently in jail. He is a disciple of Swami Ramdevanand, a local seer and Hindu saint from the Garib Das Panth sect; in 1994, Swami Ramdevanand selected him as his successor, causing Rampal to quit his job as a junior engineer. He and his followers established Satlok Ashram in 1999 in Rohtak, Haryana and would go on to start several other ashrams in Jhajjar and Rohtak. In 2006, Rampal publicly objected to certain parts of ''Satyarth Prakash'', a central book of Arya Samaj. Rampal Power Station
The Rampal Power Station ( Bengali, রামপাল বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র) is a 1320 megawatt coal-fired power station currently under construction at Rampal Upazila of Bagerhat District in Khulna, Bangladesh. The power plant is being constructed on an area of over 1834 acres of land, is situated 14 kilometres north of the world's largest mangrove forest Sundarbans which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It will be the country's largest power plant. Joseph Rampal
Joseph Rampal (12 September 1898 – 12 January 1983) was a distinguished flutist in his own right, albeit better known as the father of the internationally renowned soloist Jean-Pierre Rampal. Graduate of the French Flute School Born in Provence, France, the son of a Marseille jeweller, Joseph showed musical talent as a youngster and in 1913 was sent to Paris, with silver flute in hand, to further his studies. His elder brother Jean-Baptiste was already in the capital, studying painting with Auguste Renoir at the ''École des Beaux Arts''. Raja Rampal Singh
Raja Rampal Singh (22 August 1849 – 28 February 1909) was a ruler of Kalakankar estate of Oudh (Now in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh) from 1885 to 1909. Rampal Singh was a Congress sympathizer. He was one of the founding member of Indian National Congress Party. In consequence, Mahatma Gandhi and other congress leader used to visit him quite frequently. Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya had very intimate relations with Raja of Kalakankar. The Raja Saheb of Kalakankar had started a Hindi weekly, Hindusthan, in 1883 to spread the message of freedom. His father Lal Pratap Singh, was a revolutionary during the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and was killed in the Battle of Chanda.
