Rally Of Poland
The Rally of Poland (in Polish, ''Rajd Polski'') is a motorsport event for rally cars that was first established in 1921. It is third-oldest rally in the world, preceded only by Österreichische Alpenfahrt and Monte Carlo Rally. The event became a permanent fixture of the European Rally Championship in 1960, except for a few editions held as part of the World Rally Championship. In 1973, the Rally of Poland was the one of the thirteen rounds of newly established World Rally Championship, but was removed from the 1974 calendar. After a move to Mikołajki in the Masurian Lake District in 2005, event organisers started lobbying for the event's inclusion as a round of the World Rally Championship. After being run as a candidate event in 2007 and 2008, Poland returned to the World Rally Championship in 2009, which was won by Mikko Hirvonen. Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) is a rallying series organised by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), which is the Governing Body or ASN of India recognised by FIA culminating with National Champion Driver and Co-Driver. Hans Lorenz
Hans Lorenz (24 March 1865 – 4 July 1940) was a German engineer and mathematical physicist. He was an influential professor at the University of Göttingen and at Danzig where he was involved in establishing the training of engineers with sound mathematical and physics foundations. Lorenz was born in Wilsdruff, the son of a teacher. He studied in Leipzig and then at the Dresden Polytechnic Institute where he studied under Gustav Zeuner. Graduating in 1889 he went to work with the firm of L. A. Riedinger in Augsburg and three years later he worked with Escher-Wyss of Zurich on refrigeration. In 1894 he became an industrial consultant for refrigeration technology and also received a doctorate from the University of Munich for his work on the thermodynamic limits of cooling. 2017 World Rally Championship Season
The 2017 FIA World Rally Championship was the 45th season of the World Rally Championship, an auto racing championship recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as the highest class of international rallying. Rally Sweden
The Rally Sweden ( sv, Svenska rallyt), formerly the International Swedish Rally, and later the Uddeholm Swedish Rally, is an automobile rally competition held in February in Värmland, Sweden and relocated to Umeå in 2022. First held in 1950, as a summer rally called the Rally to the Midnight Sun ( sv, Midnattssolsrallyt) with start and finish at separate locations, seventeen years later both start and finish became located in Karlstad. The main service park is located in the town of Torsby, which is actually much closer to the special stages than Karlstad.
