, also known as Michi, is a Japanese J-pop singer. Produced by Elements Garden, Michi began her career with her debut single, “Cry for the Truth/Secret Sky”, which served as the opening and ending theme songs to the anime television series '' Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers''. She has released two other singles of which her song "Checkmate!?" peaked at #51. This song was used as the opening song to '' Dagashi Kashi''. Her third single, "Realistic!", was used as the first ending theme to the anime Kuromukuro. She released her first album called "Sprint for the Dreams" on September 21, 2016. Michi Takahashi (real name: Michiyo Takahashi, Christian name: Saint Mary Chiara, maiden name: Yoshimura, born July 22, 1963) is a teddy bear artist in Japan. She is well known in the teddy bear industry in the world as the pioneer teddy bear artist in Japan, who enhanced the charm of teddy bear as an art, not just a stuffed toy. One of her masterpieces "Look Here Bees! I'm Good Boy Takuya!" was nominated for TOBY awards in 1996¸ and won the highest praise from teddy bear fans in the world. She depicted the art of Takuya Kimura, whom she admires. Michi is also an art producer, an art director, and a soft sculptor. is a song by Japanese singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada. It was released on the main Japanese radio stations on September 13, 2016, and digitally on September 16, 2016. Background and composition "Michi" is an up-tempo J-pop song with an arrangement made entirely out of electronic synthesizers and drums. Apart from a few anglicisms and three lines in its chorus, it is completely in Japanese. It features an optimistic melody, while its lyrics talk about the singer walking a "lonely road", even though she couldn't feel completely alone, as the memory of the person she lost is still with her and guiding her through dark times. Maria Michi
Maria Michi (24 May 1921 – 7 April 1980) was an Italian supporting actress who worked with Roberto Rossellini on his two early neorealism masterpieces: '' Rome, Open City'' and '' Paisà''. Michi worked first as a typist at a law firm, then as an usherette at Teatro Quattro Fontane in Rome. She was noticed and given small parts in the company of Sergio Tofano and Diana Torrieri during the 1942-1943 season. Critic Irene Bignardi called her "a woman very near the resistance and the Communist Party". In 1948, she worked with Christian-Jaque in ''La Chartreuse de Parme''. She was married in September 1949 to Duke Augusto Torlonia, and left the world of cinema for the theater, particularly working with director Guido Salvini. Michi Weglyn
Michi Nishiura Weglyn (November 29, 1926 – April 25, 1999) was an American author. Her book ''Years of Infamy: The Untold Story of America’s Concentration Camps'', which was published in 1976, helped fuel a movement leading to reparations for Japanese Americans interned during World War II. She was awarded the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award for this work in 1977. Weglyn was also a vocal advocate for those denied redress under the Civil Liberties Act of 1988 and for the more than 2,200 Japanese Peruvians who were taken from their homes by the U.S. government and used in a hostage exchange program with Japan. Michi Itami
Michi Itami (born 1938) is a Japanese-American visual artist. Her work includes printmaking, painting, ceramics and digital art and has been exhibited internationally. She has had solo exhibitions at A.I.R. Gallery, New York; 2221 Gallery in New Delhi, India; Shinsegae Gallery in Seoul, Korea; Beni Gallery in Kyoto, Japan, among others. In 2004 Itami was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Woman's Caucus on Art. She taught at the San Francisco Art Institute and at California State University, Hayward, and is Professor Emerita at City University of New York where she taught for over 20 years. Itami received a BA in English Literature from UCLA in 1959; later studied at Columbia University in New York where she performed graduate work from 1959 to 1962 in Japanese and English literature, later receiving a MA degree in 1971 from the University of California Berkeley.
