Marne-la-Vallée () is a new town located near Paris, France. Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios Park, Val d'Europe, Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, ESIEE Paris, and École des Ponts ParisTech are located in Marne-la-Vallée. Status Marne-la-Vallée has been gradually built up since the first plans in 1965 and now covers an area of over and includes 31 communes, in the ''départements'' of Seine-et-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne. Total population (2007) is 282,150. For administrative purposes, the area has been divided into four sectors: Demographics As of 1990 fewer than 10,000 persons of East/Southeast Asian origin resided in six communes of Marne-la-Vallée. 26% of the population of Lognes was Asian, and other percentages were 8% in Noisiel, 5-6% in Noisy-le-Grand, and 5-6% in Torcy. Bussy-Saint-Georges
Bussy-Saint-Georges () is a commune in the eastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the center of Paris, in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. ESIEE Paris (french: École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Électrotechnique et Électronique) is a grande école of engineering located in Marne-la-Vallée. The school was established in 1904 and is part of the ESIEE network of graduate schools. Noisy-le-Grand () is a commune in the eastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the centre of Paris. The commune of Noisy-le-Grand is part of the sector of Porte de Paris, one of the four sectors of the "new town" of Marne-la-Vallée. Walt Disney Studios Park (French: ''Parc Walt Disney Studios'') is the second of two theme parks built at Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France, which opened on 16 March 2002. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks, Experiences and Products division. Upon opening, it was dedicated to show business, movie themes, production, and behind-the-scenes, but in the 2010s, in a similar manner to its sister park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida, it began to distance itself from the original studio backlot theming and entered a new direction of attraction development inspired by iconic Disney stories. Val d'Europe (; lit. ''Valley of Europe'') is the eastmost part of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée, located around to the east of Paris, France. The Walt Disney Company created the town near Disneyland Paris resort. The final area of the district is currently in development. It's around 1 163 ha amongst which 600 are from forests. Hydrography There is one river in the village, the channel No. 1 on the village of Pontcarré (2.2 km length) which merge with the Morbras.
