Madhur Bhandarkar
Madhur Bhandarkar (born 26 August 1968) is an Indian film director, script writer, and producer. In 2016,Bhandarkar was honoured with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour, by the Government of India. The drama film '' Chandni Bar'' (2001), won him the National Film Award for Best Film on Social Issues. Bhandarkar received the National Film Awards for the Best Feature Film and Best Director for '' Page 3'' (2005) and '' Traffic Signal'' (2007) respectively. ''Heroine'' () is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed, written, and co-produced by Madhur Bhandarkar.
