Kabo Clan
Kabo is a town in the northern Central African Republic, lying north west of Kaga Bandoro. It is a market town and the border post for Chad. History The northern nomads in the Central African Republic resented the central government and a rebel People's Army for the Restoration of the Republic and Democracy (PAPRD) was formed in the 1990s. Clashes between the rebels and the central government intensified, and many people from Kabo and the surrounding area fled as refugees to Chad. However, in January 2008, PAPRD and the Central African Armed Forces (FACA) agreed on a ceasefire for the Kabo area, allowing many of the refugees to return. On 19 December 2012 the city was captured by Séléka coalition. Ouham is one of the 16 prefectures of the Central African Republic. Its capital is Bossangoa. Geography The prefecture is in the north-west of the Central African Republic. Kaga Bandoro
Kaga-Bandoro is a market town and capital of the Nana-Grébizi prefecture of the Central African Republic. It represents the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kaga–Bandoro. History On 25 December 2012 rebels from Séléka coalition took control of Kaga-Bandoro. On 14 December 2015 rebels announced independence of Republic of Logone in Kaga-Bandoro. In September 2016 Kaga-Bandoro was reported to be under joint control of MPC and FPRC armed groups. In December 2019 four armed groups were reportedly present in Kaga-Bandoro: MPC, FPRC, Anti-balaka and UPC. On 10 April 2021, the FACA and their Russian allies entered the city of Kaga-Bandoro. Séléka CPSK-CPJP-UFDR was an alliance of rebel militia groups that subjugated the Central African Republic (CAR) on 24 March 2013. After its official dissolution in September 2013, the remaining rebel groups became known as Ex-Séléka. Central African Patriotic Movement (MPC, french: Mouvement patriotique pour la Centrafrique) is a rebel group in the Central African Republic based in nortwestern part of the country. History MPC was formed in July 2015 by Mahamat Al-Khatim. In October 2016 they were accused in taking part in attack which killed 37 civilians, however Al-Khatim denied these claims.
