Jeremiah Poutasi
Cedrick Jeremiah Poutasi (born August 7, 1994) is an American football guard for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Utah. Early years Poutasi attended Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was rated by Rivals.com as a four-star recruit. He committed to the University of Utah to play college football. College career Poutasi attended Utah from 2012 to 2014. He took over as a starter his freshman season and remained a starter through his junior season. After his junior season, Poutasi entered 2015 NFL Draft. Professional career Tennessee Titans Poutasi was selected with the 66th overall pick in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. Guard (gridiron Football)
In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The guard's job is to protect the quarterback from the incoming defensive line, linemen during pass plays, as well as creating openings (holes) for the running backs to head through. The Spring League
The Spring League was an American football developmental league and scouting event (pro showcase) that played from 2017 to 2021 and was founded by Brian Woods. Aimed at professional athletes but not paying a salary or expenses, the league's goal was to "serve as an instructional league and showcase for professional football talent". The Spring League was the second football property to be established by Woods, following the Fall Experimental Football League (FXFL) from 2014 to 2015 and preceding the United States Football League revival in 2022. The league consisted of three to eight teams and played an abbreviated four to six game "season" in April or May.
