James Taylor
James Vernon Taylor (born March 12, 1948) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. A six-time Grammy Award winner, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. He is one of the List of best-selling music artists, best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 100 million records worldwide. Taylor achieved his breakthrough in 1970 with the single "Fire and Rain (song), Fire and Rain" and had his first hit in 1971 with his recording of "You've Got a Friend", written by Carole King in the same year. Carole King Klein (born Carol Joan Klein; February 9, 1942) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who has been active since 1958, initially as one of the staff songwriters at 1650 Broadway and later as a solo artist. Hear Music was a record label that was founded in 2007 in a partnership between Concord Music Group and Starbucks. ''Hourglass'' is the fourteenth studio album by singer-songwriter James Taylor released in 1997. It was his first studio album in six years since 1991's '' New Moon Shine''. It was a huge commercial success, reaching No. 9 on the ''Billboard'' 200, his first Top 10 album in sixteen years and also provided a big adult contemporary hit, "Little More Time With You".
