Imagen Televisión is a national broadcast television network in Mexico, owned by Grupo Imagen. It launched on October 17, 2016, at 8 p.m. History Imagen on television In 2006, Imagen's parent, Grupo Empresarial Ángeles, acquired XHRAE-TV channel 28 in Mexico City from its previous owner, beleaguered businessman Raúl Aréchiga Espinoza, for US$126 million. Imagen already owned radio stations in Mexico City and other major cities nationwide. The next year, GEA relaunched the station as "cadenatres", with the ambition of functioning as Mexico's third broadcast network. Despite this and national basic cable carriage, cadenatres only had a handful of local affiliates. On October 26, 2015, cadenatres was shuttered and replaced with news outlet Excélsior TV as Imagen began preparing to launch its national network. Mauricio Barcelata Pinedo (born 5 January 1970 in Alvarado, Veracruz) is a Mexican actor and TV host. He currently hosts ''Sale el Sol'', the morning show of Imagen Televisión. Biography Barcelata started his professional career as member of a child pop band called "'' Cometa''". He later appeared as an extra in the telenovela '' Agujetas de color de rosa'' (1994). XHTVM-TDT (virtual channel 40) is a television station in Mexico City, owned by Televisora del Valle de México and operated by TV Azteca. It is branded as ''adn40'' and available over the air in much of Mexico on TV Azteca's transmitters. Programming generally consists of news and informational shows. Radio Fórmula
Radio Fórmula is a Mexican talk radio network. Founded in 1968, Radio Fórmula programs are broadcast on more than 100 stations in Mexico as well as several stations in the United States. It is the flagship product of Grupo Fórmula, which also owns the TeleFórmula cable news network and PM Onstreet, an outdoor advertising firm. History Grupo Formula traces its beginnings to 1968, when several Mexico City stations were split from Emilio Azcárraga Vidaurreta’s Radiópolis system. Among these was XEDF-AM 970. Ciro Gómez Leyva (born October 10, 1957) is a Mexican news anchor and personality. He hosts the main newscast on Imagen Televisión and a morning radio program, ''Ciro por la Mañana'' (Ciro in the Morning), for Radio Fórmula.
