Hauke Jagau
Hauke Jagau (born 1961 in Hanover, West Germany) is a German politician (SPD). Career Before being mayor of Laatzen the lawyer worked for ''SPD-Landtagsfraktion Niedersachsen'', the State Ministry of Justice and the State Chancellery in the government of Minister-President Gerhard Schröder. Since 2006, Jagau has been serving as the president of the ''Region Hannover''. In September 2020, he announced that he would not stand for re-election in 2021 but instead resign from active politics by the end of his term. In addition, Jagau is the vice-chairman of the SPD in Lower Saxony under the leadership of Stephan Weil as well as member of the managing committee of ''SPD-Bezirk Hannover''. Hannover
Hanover (; german: Hannover ; nds, Hannober) is the capital and largest city of the German state of Lower Saxony. The German Life Saving Association (german: Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft or DLRG) is a relief organization for life saving in Germany. The DLRG is the largest voluntary lifesaving organization in the world. With around 560,000 members, organised in approximately 2,100 local groups, the DLRG is the largest voluntary water rescue organization in the world. Hanover (district)
Hanover Region (german: Region Hannover) is a district in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is bounded by (from the north and clockwise) the districts of Heidekreis, Celle, Gifhorn, Peine, Hildesheim, Hamelin-Pyrmont, Schaumburg and Nienburg. The Hanover Region district has a unique legal status among the districts of Lower Saxony. It includes the city of Hanover (the state capital) which has the same privileges as a city that is not part of a district. As a consequence, the district is much larger in population than any other district of the state. Michael Arndt is an American screenwriter. He is best known as the writer of the films '' Little Miss Sunshine'' (2006), ''Toy Story 3'' (2010), and '' Star Wars: The Force Awakens'' (2015). Arndt won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for ''Little Miss Sunshine'' and was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay for ''Toy Story 3''. This made Arndt the first screenwriter ever to be nominated for both the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and Best Adapted Screenplay for his first two screenplays. Robert Enke
Robert Enke (24 August 1977 – 10 November 2009) was a German professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played for Mönchengladbach, Benfica, and Barcelona, but made the majority of his appearances for Bundesliga side Hannover 96 in his homeland. He won eight full international caps for the German national team between the 1999 Confederations Cup and his death in 2009, and was part of the squad which finished as runners-up in Euro 2008.
