Gaussian Network Model
The Gaussian network model (GNM) is a representation of a biological macromolecule as an elastic mass-and-spring network to study, understand, and characterize the mechanical aspects of its long-time large-scale dynamics. The model has a wide range of applications from small proteins such as enzymes composed of a single domain, to large macromolecular assemblies such as a ribosome or a viral capsid. Protein domain dynamics plays key roles in a multitude of molecular recognition and cell signalling processes. Protein domains, connected by intrinsically disordered flexible linker domains, induce long-range allostery via protein domain dynamics. The resultant dynamic modes cannot be generally predicted from static structures of either the entire protein or individual domains. The Gaussian network model is a minimalist, coarse-grained approach to study biological molecules. In the model, proteins are represented by nodes corresponding to α-carbons of the amino acid residues. Sim ...

GNM (API)
The PlayStation 4 system software is the updatable firmware and operating system of the PlayStation 4. The operating system is Orbis OS, based on FreeBSD 9. Technology System The native operating system of the PlayStation 4 is Orbis OS, which is a fork of FreeBSD version 9.0 which was released on January 12, 2012. The PlayStation 4 features two graphics APIs, a low-level API named '' Gnm'' and a high-level API named '' Gnmx''. Most developers start with Gnmx, which wraps around Gnm, and in turn manages the more esoteric GPU details. This can be a familiar way to work if the developers are used to platforms like Direct3D 12. Another key area of the game is its programmable pixel shaders. Sony's own ''PlayStation Shader Language'' (PSSL) was introduced to the PlayStation 4. It has been suggested that the PlayStation Shader Language is very similar to the HLSL standard in DirectX 12, with just subtle differences that could be eliminated mostly through preprocessor macros. Be ...

Games 'n' Music
Datel Games 'n' Music, otherwise known as Games 'n' Music or GnM was a mass market Nintendo DS homebrew device sold by Datel at an MSRP of $40. It inserts into the DS card slot and loads games from a MicroSD card. Unlike most flash cartridges ( Flashcarts), Games 'n' Music does not officially support playing backup copies of DS game cards in order to showcase a product that is supportive of Nintendo as these backup copies are a major source of dispute within the Nintendo company. It was one of the few flash cartridges available in major American retail stores. Games 'n' Music allows the user to play Movies, Music, and Homebrew applications on the Nintendo DS. It was criticized for its low compatibility with homebrew applications, however, with developments such as DLDI this become a non-issue. The official product description states that the maximum supported MicroSD card size is 2 GB. Cards that are compatible include those made by Sandisk, Lexar, Kingston Kingston may refe ...
