Florinda Bolkan
Florinda Bolkan (born Florinda Soares Bulcão; 15 February 1941) is a retired Brazilian actress and model. Biography She was born in Uruburetama and lived in Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro until she moved to Italy. A former flight inspector for Brazilian international carrier Varig, she became fluent in English, Italian and French. Bulcão moved to Italy in 1968 after being discovered by the film director Luchino Visconti. She changed her name to Florinda Bolkan because she thought it would be more comfortable for international audiences. Bolkan acted with the Beatle Ringo Starr in her first film, '' Candy''. She worked in more than forty films, mainly in Italy. She was directed by Vittorio de Sica in '' Una Breve Vacanza''. Uruburetama
Uruburetama is a municipality in the state of Ceará in the Northeast region of Brazil. Its population, according to the census of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, IBGE, 2010, is 19,765 people. Toponymy "Uruburetama" is a word derived from the Tupi-Guaraní language which means "land of the crows," by combining the terms ''uru'bu'' (crow, vulture, buzzard) and ''retama'' (land). History The municipality is located in the former 'sesmaria' (colonial land allotment) granted to the Captain General Bento Coelho de Morais on November 19, 1720. These lands were donated to the Father Estevão Velho Cabral de Melo for priestly heritage by Manuel Pereira Pinto, a lieutenant colonel, who received the inheritance of the Captain General Bento Coelho de Morais, his father in law. ''Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion'' ( it, Indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto) is a 1970 Italian crime drama film directed by Elio Petri, starring Gian Maria Volonté and Florinda Bolkan. It is a psychological, black-humored satire on corruption in high office, telling the story of a top police officer who kills his mistress, and then tests whether the police would charge him for this crime. He begins manipulating the investigation by planting obvious clues while the other police officers ignore them, either intentionally or not. The film was released in Italy by Euro International Pictures on 9 February 1970, to widespread acclaim from critics.
