Hermanni Pihlajamäki
Herman Matinpoika "Hermanni" Pihlajamäki (11 November 1903 – 4 June 1982) was a Finnish wrestler. He competed in freestyle wrestling at the 1932 and 1936 Olympics and won a gold and a bronze medal, respectively. At the European championships he won a freestyle gold medal in 1931, and two silver medals in 1935, in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. Pihlajamäki won six Finnish titles: in 1927, 1930, 1932 and 1935–1937, five of them in freestyle wrestling. He worked as a policeman. His cousin Kustaa Kustaa is a Finnish masculine name derived from Gustav. Hermanni Vuorinen
Hermanni Vuorinen (born 27 January 1985) is a Finnish former footballer. He played as a striker. Club career He began his career at FC Jazz but at the age of 18, he tried out for German side Werder Bremen, but got homesick. For the 2005 season he joined FC Honka and helped them gain promotion to the Finnish Premier League ( Veikkausliiga). Few thought that they would survive but at the end of September, the team was at the top of the league, receiving top-scoring from Vuorinen with 16 goals in 18 games. Because of his success, it was announced in August 2006 that Fredrikstad FK had purchased the tall forward, turning down clubs from Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Slovenia. However, he returned to Finland in July 2007. On 31 August 2010 he was signed by R. Charleroi S.C. for a two-year contract with an option for third. Pelle Hermanni
Pelle Hermanni (translates to Hermanni the Clown) is a Finnish children's TV show from 1978–1988 shown on Yle TV2 in the Pikku Kakkonen children's program. The show's main character is Pelle Hermanni, a clown who lives in his own trailer at a circus trailer park. He was played by Veijo Pasanen. There is no major continuing plot, instead the episodes consist of Hermanni talking about his life and daily events in a funny, clownish, somewhat childish way. His comedic antics are further increased by the comically misproportioned props and his way of fumbling over difficult words. Hermanni would often ask questions from his children audience, and then pretend to actually hear what they answered, saying such things like "Right, Annika there knew the answer!"
