Quest Arabiya ( ar, عربية Quest) was a free-to-air pan-Arab television channel. The channel was launched on 7 December 2015 across the Middle East and North Africa region. It was the region's localized version of the Quest (TV channel), Quest channel. The channel was owned by Discovery Communications in partnership with the Abu Dhabi-based Image Nation. Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. "Standard" refers to it being the prevailing specification for broadcast (and later, cable) television in the mid- to late-20th century, and compatible with legacy analog broadcast systems. DTX (previously known as Discovery Turbo Xtra) is a television channel focused on programming about cars owned by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA. It is a CEEMEA version of Discovery Turbo. The channel was launched under the name Discovery Turbo Xtra to replace the European version of Discovery World, with the first launch in Poland on 17 September 2013.
