Eric Bieniemy
Eric M. Bieniemy Jr. (born August 15, 1969) is an American football coach and former running back who is the offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs. He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes and was recognized as a consensus All-American. Bieniemy was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the second round, 39th overall, of the 1991 NFL Draft. He also played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles. After his playing career ended, Bieniemy returned to Colorado, where he served as their running backs coach. He served as the offensive coordinator at Colorado before becoming the running backs coach of the Chiefs. As a running backs coach in the NFL, Bieniemy coached Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles, who made a combined seven pro bowls in eight seasons, as their running backs coach. An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The College Football All-America Team is an honor given annually to the best college football players in the United States at their respective positions. The original use of the term '' All-America'' seems to have been to the 1889 College Football All-America Team selected by Caspar Whitney and published in ''This Week's Sports''. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. A touchdown (abbreviated as TD) is a scoring play in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone.
