The Energy Regulatory Authority (ERE) ( sq, Enti Rregullator i Energjisë, links=no) is an independent public entity tasked to ensure a sustainable and secure electricity supply for the Albanian consumer by establishing an operational and competitive electricity market, taking into account the consumer's interest. ERE organizes hearings with stakeholders from the three energy operators KESH, OST, and OSHEE to discuss price increases and tariff changes for energy production. Tirana ( , ; aln, Tirona) is the capital and largest city of Albania. The Energy of Albania () is the largest government owned electricity producing company in Albania. KESH operates the most important electricity generating plants in the country. They include: The Drin River Cascade hydropower plants (Fierza HPP, Komani HPP and Vau i Dejës HPP), with an installed power capacity of 1,350 MW, and the Vlora TPP, with an installed power capacity of 98 MW.
