Ejerie

The major town in Ejerie is Ejerie town, after which the District is sometimes named. The source of the Awash River, Mount Warqe, lies in this woreda. The August 2006 floods affected Ejerie, causing widespread damage. In this woreda—combined with Sebata, Awas, and Elu woredas—14,790 persons were affected and 2,052 people displaced. Jeldu
Jeldu is one of the Districts of Ethiopia, districts in the Oromia of Ethiopia. Part of the West Shewa Zone, Jeldu is bordered on the south by Dendi (woreda), Dendi, on the southwest by Ilfeta (woreda), Ilfeta, on the north by Ginde Beret, on the northeast by Meta Robi, and on the southeast by Ejerie. Towns in Jeldu include, Gojo, Ethiopia, Gojo, Osole, and Shekute, Boni. In November 2008, woreda officials announced the completion of a 1.5 million Ethiopian Birr, Birr project to improve the availability of Water supply and sanitation in Ethiopia, safe water in Jeldu, which included installing 13 kilometers of water pipelines, building seven water distribution centers, and constructing a water reservoir with a capacity of 75,000 liters. Funding came from the Rotary Foundation, The Hunger Project, and Ethiopian sources.
