EXID
EXID (; ; short for "Exceed in Dreaming") is a South Korean girl group formed in 2012. The group currently consists of five members: Solji, Elly, Hani, Hyelin and Jeonghwa. EXID debuted in February 2012, with the single "Whoz That Girl". Though the album gained some attention, it was not until 2014 that the group unexpectedly gained popularity with the single " Up & Down", which reached number one on the Gaon Singles Chart four months after release due to a fan-recording of a live performance becoming a viral video. EXID released their second EP '' Ah Yeah'' in April 2015, to commercial success, and followed this with their first studio album ''Street'' (2016) and various other EPs over the years. Heo Sol-ji
Heo Sol-ji (Hangul: 허솔지; born January 10, 1989), known mononymously as Solji, is a South Korean singer. She was a member of the ballad duo group 2NB from 2006 to 2010. She later became a vocal trainer before joining EXID in July 2012 as the leader and main vocalist. Career Solji was formerly a member of the vocal duo 2NB with Blady's Gabin, and released solo singles in 2008. The duo disbanded in 2012. She then worked as EXID's vocal trainer before becoming a member. In April 2012, AB Entertainment announced that three original members Yuji, Dami, and Haeryeong would leave the girl group EXID. Solji then joined EXID along with Hyelin, a former ''Superstar K3'' participant. In February 2013, EXID formed a sub-unit called "Dasoni", which consisted of Solji and Hani. She is known as a member of the South Korean girl group EXID and its subgroup, SoljiHani (formerly known as Dasoni (Hangul: 다소니)). ''Ah Yeah'' (stylized in all caps) is the second extended play by South Korean girl group EXID. It was released on April 13, 2015 by Yedang Entertainment and distributed by Sony Music. The EP was supported by two singles: " Up & Down", which served as the lead single, and the title track "Ah Yeah", which was released as a follow-up single to the former. Ahn Hyo-jin (; born December 10, 1991), professionally known as ELLY () and formerly known as LE, is a South Korean rapper, producer and songwriter. She has been a member of K-pop girl group EXID since 2012. She was also previously a member of the underground hip hop group, Jiggy Fellaz, performing under the stage name, Elly. "Every Night" () is a song recorded by South Korean girl group EXID. The song was released as a digital single on October 2, 2012 through AB Entertainment. The song is written by member LE, and co-produced by LE and Shinsadong Tiger. "Every Night" is a rearrangement of the track "Call", which was on their first extended play, '' Hippity Hop''.
