Doraemon
''Doraemon'' ( ja, ドラえもん ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio. The manga was first serialized in December 1969, with its 1,345 individual chapters compiled into 45 ''tankōbon'' volumes and published by Shogakukan from 1970 to 1996. The story revolves around an earless robotic cat named Doraemon, who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a boy named Nobita Nobi. The manga spawned a media franchise. Three anime TV series have been adapted in 1973, 1979, and 2005. Additionally, Shin-Ei Animation has produced over forty animated films, including two 3D computer animated films, all of which are distributed by Toho. The Doraemons
is a spin-off manga series of the long-running series ''Doraemon''. Synopsis The series originated from the film '' 2112: The Birth of Doraemon'', where the six protagonists were created. is a fictional character in the Japanese manga and animated series of the same name created by Fujiko F. Fujio, the pen name of writing team Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. Doraemon is a male robotic earless cat that travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a preteen boy named Nobita. is the most recent anime TV series based on Fujiko F. Fujio's manga of the same name. Produced by Shin-Ei Animation and Asatsu-DK, it began airing on TV Asahi on April 15, 2005. It also airs in over 50 countries worldwide. This Doraemon anime series is sometimes referred to in Asia as the Mizuta Edition (水田版), after Wasabi Mizuta, the voice actress who voices Doraemon in this series. The anime is licensed by Viz Media for broadcast rights only. An English dub produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment aired on Disney XD in the USA as ''Doraemon: Gadget Cat From the Future'' from July 7, 2014 until May 12, 2017. Nobita Nobi
is a fictional character in the ''Doraemon'' anime and manga series created by Fujiko Fujio, the pen name of writing team Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. He is also the main character in The Doraemons (special version). Known as Sidney, Specky, Nobi Nobi and Noby, in some of the English localizations of the anime, Nobita is usually depicted as an academically elementary school student in Tokyo's Nerima Ward and the only child of Nobisuke and Tamako Nobi, who is perpetually looked after by the series' title character, a robotic cat from the future sent back in time by Nobita's descendant. is the first anime TV series based on Fujiko Fujio, Fujiko F. Fujio's Doraemon, manga of the same name. It was produced by Nippon TeleMovie Productions. It aired from April 1, 1973, to September 30, 1973. After the anime ended, Doraemon remained exclusively a manga until 1979 when Shin-Ei Animation produced a more successful Doraemon (1979 anime), second anime adaptation, which officially ended in 2005; it was in turn replaced by a Doraemon (2005 anime), third anime adaptation shortly after which continues to air to recent days.
