Districts Of Vietnam
The provinces of Vietnam are subdivided into second-level administrative units, namely districts ( vi, huyện), provincial cities (), and district-level towns (). The centrally-controlled municipalities (the other first-level division, in addition to provinces) are subdivided into rural districts (), district-level towns, and urban districts () that are further subdivided into wards (). The district (''huyện'') unit dates from the 15th century. The various subdivisions (cities, towns, and districts) are listed below, by province. Cities and towns are italicised, urban districts are underlined while capital cities are bolded and italicised. Provinces Of Vietnam
On the first tier, Vietnam is divided into fifty-eight provinces (tỉnh) and five municipalities under the command of the central government ( vi, thành phố trực thuộc trung ương). Municipalities are the highest-ranked cities in Vietnam. ISO 3166-2:VN Municipalities are centrally-controlled cities and have special status equal to the provinces. The provinces are divided into provincial cities, towns, and rural districts as the second-tier units. Chợ Mới District, An Giang Province
Chợ Mới is a rural district (''huyện'') of An Giang province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. Chợ Mới is the district with the largest population in An Giang province. As of 2003, the district had a population of 362,492. The district covers 355 km². The district's capital lies at Chợ Mới. In addition to the district capital Chợ Mới, there is one other urban subdivision, Mỹ Luông Town. The rural communes are: Kiến An, Kiến Thành, Mỹ Hội Đông, Nhơn Mỹ, Long Giang, Long Điền A, Long Điền B, Tân Mỹ, Mỹ Hiệp, Bình Phước Xuân, Long Kiến, An Thạch Trung, Hội An, Hòa Bình and Hoà An. Bà Rịa
Bà Rịa () is a city in Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu province in the Southeast region of Vietnam. Bà Rịa is split from Vũng Tàu by a river crossed by Cỏ May Bridge. This is the '' de jure'' seat of the province since most of the provincial administration agencies are located here. Bà Rịa officially became the provincial capital of Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu from 2 May 2012, replacing Vũng Tàu in that role. Location Bà Rịa is located 90 km east southeast of Ho Chi Minh City and 20 km northwest of the petroleum city of Vũng Tàu. Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu Province
Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu ) is a province of Vietnam. It is located on the coast of the country's Southeast region. It also includes the Côn Đảo islands, located some distance off Vietnam's southeastern coast. From 1954 to 1975, under South Vietnam, the province was called Phước Tuy. History With the exception of the Côn Đảo islands, all of Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu province was once a part of Đồng Nai province to the north.
