Coloman the Learned, also the Book-Lover or the Bookish ( hu, Könyves Kálmán; hr, Koloman; sk, Koloman Učený; 10703February 1116) was King of Hungary from 1095 and King of Croatia from 1097 until his death. Because Coloman and his younger brother Álmos were underage when their father Géza I died, their uncle Ladislaus I ascended the throne in 1077. Ladislaus prepared Colomanwho was "half-blind and humpbacked", according to late medieval Hungarian chroniclesfor a church career, and Coloman was eventually appointed bishop of Eger or Várad (Oradea, Romania) in the early 1090s. Coloman Of Galicia-Lodomeria
Coloman of Halych ( hu, Kálmán; uk, Коломан; 1208 – 1241) was the rulerfrom 1214 prince, and from 1215 or 1216 to 1221 kingof Halych, and duke of Slavonia from 1226 to his death. He was the second son of Andrew II of Hungary and Gertrude of Merania. His father and Leszek the White, Duke of Poland, concluded an agreement about the marriage of Coloman and Leszek's daughter, Salomea, and the division of Halych, allotting its western regions to Leszek, the remaining lands to Coloman. The Hungarian and Polish armies occupied the principality in late 1214. Andrew II appointed a Hungarian nobleman, Benedict the Bald, to administer it on Coloman's behalf. Coloman was crowned the first king of Halych with the pope's authorization in early 1216. Coloman, Bishop Of Győr
Coloman ( hu, Kálmán; 1317 – 1375) was a Hungarian prelate who served as bishop of Győr from 1337 to 1375. He was the illegitimate son of King Charles I of Hungary. He was imprisoned from 1353 to 1358/59 on suspicion of having conspired against Charles's successor Louis I, but subsequently released and allowed to continue in office. Coloman of Stockerau ( ga, Colmán; la, Colomannus; died 18 October 1012) was an Irish saint. While on pilgrimage to the Holy Land, he was mistaken for a spy and hanged near Vienna. Life Originally known as Colmán (variously rendered Koloman, Kálmán, Colman, and Colomannus), he was an Irish pilgrim en route to the Holy Land and was mistaken for a spy because of his strange appearance. He was tortured and hanged at Stockerau, near Vienna, Austria, on 16 July 1012. Later tradition has it that he was "a son of Máel-Sechnaill (d. 1022), high king of Ireland." Coloman Braun-Bogdan (13 October 1905 – 15 March 1983) was a Romanian football midfielder and football manager. Born in Arad, Arad County, which was at the time part of Austria-Hungary, he made a name for himself as one of the best Romanian midfielders of the interwar period. One of his most important achievements was being part of the Romania squad at the 1938 World Cup. His coaching career started early while he was still an active player. In 1933 he took the coaching courses of the British football school at Folkestone and in 1940 those of the Romanian football school of O.N.E.F. As manager he led Sportul Studenţesc and Jiul Petroşani to the top flight of Romanian football and he won the Romanian national championship and the Romanian Cup with UTA Arad.
