Cabiao
Cabiao, officially the Municipality of Cabiao (Tagalog: ''Bayan ng Cabiao''), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 85,862 people. Cabiao is the 3rd most populous, one of the richest, and fastest growing municipality in the province, only behind Talavera and Guimba. If cities are included, the town ranks 6th. According to the National Competitiveness Council in Cities/Municipalities Competitiveness Index 2018, Cabiao is ranked 10th in Overall Municipal category with 1,400 participating municipalities and 30th place in first to second class municipal category. The town also boasts of being 2nd place in the Resiliency category. Mariano Llanera
Mariano Núñez Llanera (born Mariano Llanera y Núñez; November 9, 1855 – September 19, 1942) was a Filipino revolutionary general from Cabiao, Nueva Ecija who fought in his aforementioned home province, and also in the neighboring provinces of Bulacan, Tarlac, and Pampanga. He is considered one of the "three Fathers" (the main instigators/ commanders) of the Cry of Nueva Ecija, along with Pantaleon Valmonte and Manuel Tinio. Early life Llanera studied at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran. He then became a ''Cabeza de barangay'' and later, a ''Gobernadorcillo'' for two terms in the town of Cabiao. Guimba
Guimba, officially the Municipality of Guimba ( tgl, Bayan ng Guimba; ilo, Ili ti Guimba), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 127,653 people. It was incorporated by the King of Spain by virtue of a royal decree in 1897. Etymology Guimba came from the Ilocano term 'Gebba' which was the process of heating molded clay pots in a pit until they turn reddish and durable. Tree stumps were made into large pieces of charcoal. The live charcoals were placed underneath the clay pots. After a few hours these were hardened and ready to bring out from the pit and ready for use. The story goes, once a Spanish visited the place where most of the residents are engaged in pottery making. Talavera, Nueva Ecija
Talavera, officially the Municipality of Talavera ( ilo, Ili ti Talavera; tgl, Bayan ng Talavera), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. According to the PSA Census of Housing and Population for 2020, it has a population of 132,388. Talavera is part of Cabanatuan conurbation as adjacent urban center in the heart of Nueva Ecija. It is dubbed as the "Milk Capital" and "Food basket in Inland Luzon". Talavera is one of the fastest growing municipalities in the province and proposals have been planned for cityhood. Given its robust economic growth, Talavera enjoys annual progress and wealth.
