Britta Martin (born 2 September 1978 in Hannover, Germany) is a German born, New Zealand based professional triathlete and multiple winner of Ironman distance races all over the world (2012, 2014). Career Britta Martin studied sports science at the Technical University Munich. In the beginning she has been a cyclist. In her first triathlon season 2003 she won her first two competitions in the Munich region together with Faris Al-Sultan, winner of the Ironman World Championships two years later, as the fastest man on the podium. Britta Ernst (born 23 February 1961) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany who has served as Education Minister of Brandenburg since 2017.
