''Best of Bowie'' is a 2002 greatest hits album by English recording artist David Bowie. Released in October after the critical and commercial success of the ''Heathen'' album released four months earlier, the songs range from his second album, '' David Bowie'' (1969) to ''Heathen'' (2002). A DVD, also titled ''Best of Bowie'', was also released. Initially peaking at number 11 on the UK Albums Chart upon release in October 2002, the album entered the top 10 for the first time in January 2016, after Bowie's death, and reached a new peak of number 1, marking Bowie's eleventh UK number-one album. It also became the first album to reach number 1 in the UK due to streaming. ''Best of Bowie'' has been certified 4× Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry for sales of over 1,200,000. ''Blackstar'' (stylised as ★) is the 26th and final studio album by English musician David Bowie. It was released worldwide on 8January 2016, coinciding with Bowie's 69th birthday, through his ISO label, Columbia Records and Sony Music. The album was primarily recorded in secret between the Magic Shop and Human Worldwide Studios in New York City with Bowie's longtime co-producer Tony Visconti and a group of local jazz musicians: saxophonist Donny McCaslin, pianist Jason Lindner, bassist Tim Lefebvre and drummer Mark Guiliana; guitarist Ben Monder joined the ensemble for the final sessions, while James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem contributed percussion. A Reality Tour was a worldwide concert tour by David Bowie in support of the ''Reality'' album. The tour began on 7 October 2003 at the Forum Copenhagen, Denmark, continuing through Europe, North America, Asia, including a return to New Zealand and Australia for the first time since the 1987 Glass Spider Tour. At over 110 shows, the tour was the longest tour of Bowie's career. A heart attack in late June 2004 forced the cancellation of some dates near the end of the tour. "The Hearts Filthy Lesson" (no apostrophe in "Hearts") is a song by David Bowie, from his 1995 album '' Outside'', and issued as a single ahead of the album. "China Girl" is a song written by Iggy Pop and David Bowie during their years in Berlin, first appearing on Pop's debut solo album ''The Idiot'' (1977). ''Bowie – The Video Collection'' is a video album by David Bowie, released in 1993. It included most official music videos made by Bowie between 1972 and 1990. Release and reception This video collection was released as a tie-in to the audio release of Bowie's '' The Singles Collection'', released at the same time and with similar packaging.
