Ciudad Ayala
Ciudad Ayala is a city in the east-central part of the Mexican state of Morelos. It stands at , at a mean height of above sea level. The city is named for Coronel Francisco Ayala (1760-1812) who fought with José María Morelos during the 1812 Siege of Cuautla. The town's previous name was ''Mapachtlan''. Ayala became a municipality on April 17, 1869. Ciudad Ayala had a population of 6,190 inhabitants in 2005, and 6335 in 2020. Ayala Avenue is a major thoroughfare in Makati, Philippines. It is one of the busiest roads in Metro Manila, crossing through the heart of the Makati Central Business District. Because of the many businesses located along the avenue, Ayala Avenue is nicknamed the "Wall Street of the Philippines" and dubbed in the 1970s and 1980s as the "Madison Avenue of the Philippines". Zamboanga City, a highly urbanized city since 22 November 1983, comprises 98 barangays, which are grouped into 13 geographic districts.
