Alex Robinson (born August 8, 1969) is an American comic book writer and artist. Early life Alex Robinson grew up in Yorktown Heights, New York, and graduated from Yorktown High School in 1987. After a year spent at SUNY Brockport, he went to the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he studied under Will Eisner, Sal Amendola, Gahan Wilson, and Carmine Infantino. He graduated with a BFA in cartooning in 1993. Warrior Nun Areala is a manga-style American comic book character created by Ben Dunn and published by Antarctic Press, first appearing in ''Ninja High School'' #37 in March 1993 as Shanna Masters. The story later revolves around 'Sister' Shannon Masters, a member of the Order of the Cruciform Sword, a fictional military order of Warrior Nuns and Magic Priests in the service of the Catholic Church. In the comic, the order was created in 1066, when a Valkyrie named Auria renounced her pagan ways and turned to Jesus Christ for salvation. Ever since then, Auria, now Areala, has chosen an avatar in every generation to carry on the mission. Ninja High School
''Ninja High School'' (also known as ''NHS'') is a comic book series created, written, and illustrated by Ben Dunn, and published by Antarctic Press (at one point being published by Eternity Comics). On occasion other artists and writers have contributed to the series, including Katie Bair, Fred Perry, Robby Bevard, Carlos Castro, and Fabian Doles. ''NHS'' takes place in a suburban town known as Quagmire, located "somewhere in the Midwest". Fred Perry (born September 16, 1969) is an American comic book artist and writer, currently working at Antarctic Press. Fred Perry is well known as an author and artist of manga style comics. The series he is best known for is ''Gold Digger'', a long-running manga style comic.
