Amjet Executive SA is a European air charter company operating business jets, headquartered in the Greek city of Athens with a brokerage department based in Geneva, Switzerland. It flies Dassault Falcons, an Airbus A319CJ and a corporate-configured McDonnell Douglas MD-83. The company holds a Greek air operator's certificate (AOC). Air charter is the business of renting an entire aircraft (i.e., chartering) as opposed to individual aircraft seats (i.e., purchasing a ticket through a traditional airline). Air Operator's Certificate
An air operator's certificate (AOC) is the approval granted by a civil aviation authority (CAA) to an aircraft operator to allow it to use aircraft for commercial purposes. This requires the operator to have personnel, assets, and system in place to ensure the safety of its employees, and the general public. Airbus Corporate Jets, a business unit of Airbus SAS and part of Airbus, markets and completes corporate jet variants from the parent's airliner range.
