Alpha Phi Delta
Alpha Phi Delta (), commonly referred to as APD, is a Greek social fraternity that evolved from an exclusive Italian society, initially known as ''Il Circolo Italiano'' ("The Italian circle"), established at Syracuse University in 1914. Founding Seven students created the fraternity that would last long after their college days. They were Cesidio A. Guarini, Ferdinand F. DiBartolo, Anthony T. Frascati, Nicholas Frunzi, Otto Gelormini, Dominic T. Ciolli, and Joseph Cangiamila. Soon after its founding, Alpha Phi Delta spread from Syracuse and became a national fraternity. Alpha Phi Delta was traditionally an Italian-heritage fraternity. Since 2 September 1965, it accepts young men of all ethnic backgrounds. Ramapo College
Ramapo College of New Jersey (RCNJ) is a public liberal arts college in Mahwah, New Jersey. It is part of New Jersey's public system of higher education. History In the late 19th century, the Ramapo Valley was developed for large estates by many wealthy families. Theodore Havemeyer and his family arrived in the area in the 1870s. Havemeyer, a founder of the American Sugar Company, purchased and renovated a home on the road that would become Route 202 and developed more than surrounding the mansion into a farm.
