Alessandro Matri (; born 19 August 1984) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Early career Born in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, Lombardy, a ''comune'' 30 km away from the city of Milan, Matri started his career at Milan. He made his debut on 24 May 2003, against Piacenza as a starter, as Milan rested the majority of its regular starting eleven in view of the 2003 UEFA Champions League Final won over Juventus four days later. Matri partnered with Michele Piccolo and was replaced by Roberto Bortolotto in the 71st minute; he did not score. In the next season, Matri spent the entire year playing ludo with Milan's Primavera (under-20) team, failing to feature in the senior team. Serie C1
Lega Pro Prima Divisione was the third highest football league in Italy. It consisted of 33 teams, divided geographically into two divisions of 16 and 17 teams for group A and B respectively. Until 2008 it was known as Serie C1. Before the 1978–79 season there were only three leagues of professional football in Italy, the third being Serie C. In 1978, it was decided to split Serie C into Serie C1 and Serie C2. Serie C2, the fourth highest professional league in the Italian system, was also renamed in 2008 and was called Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. The reform, already decided by the FIGC led to the reunification with the second division starting from 2014-2015 and with the subsequent rebirth of the third division championship organized by the pro league with 60 teams divided into three groups of 20 in Lega Pro. Daniele Conti
Daniele Conti (born 9 January 1979) is an Italian football manager and former player, who played most of his career for Cagliari as a midfielder; he currently works as a co-ordinator for the club's youth side. He is the son of former A.S. Roma and Italy star Bruno Conti, and the younger brother of fellow footballer Andrea Conti. Club career Conti started his career at his father's club Roma, debuting in 1996. In 1999, he was sold to Cagliari in a co-ownership deal for 800 million lire (€413,166). Pasquale Foggia (; born 3 June 1983) is an Italian former footballer, who played as a left winger or attacking midfielder. A quick and creative player, he was predominantly known for his dribbling skills and his ability to create chances for teammates. Robert Acquafresca (; born 11 September 1987) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is a former Italy under-21 international and represented Italy at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Club career Early career Born in Turin to an Italian father and a Polish mother residing in Alpignano, Acquafresca entered the Torino youth system at the age of 6. Co-ownership (football)
Co-ownership is a system whereby two football clubs own the contract of a player jointly, although the player is only registered to play for one club. It is not a universal system, but is used in some countries, including Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. It was formerly commonplace in Italy, though the practice has now been abolished there. This type of deal differs from third-party ownership, in that in the latter, the player's contract is owned by a non-footballing entity, such as a management company. Italy Co-ownership deals were common in Italian football, before being banned at the end of the 2014–15 season. The practice was sanctioned in Article 102 bis of the FIGC Internal Organizational Regulations (''Norme Organizzative Interne della FIGC'') and were officially known as "participation rights" (''diritti di partecipazione''). The 2006–07 Coppa Italia was the 60th edition of the tournament. The final was played, like the two previous editions, between Internazionale and Roma. The first match was played in Rome on 9 May 2007, and the second leg in Milan on 17 May 2007.
