''Admissions'' is a 2011 American short film written by John Viscount and directed by Harry Kakatsakis. The film received funds from a successful Kickstarter campaign. The plot of the film revolves around an Israeli couple and a Palestinian man who go through admissions together because they have suffered similar tragic endings. ''Admission'' is the fifth and final studio album by American metal band Torche, released on July 12, 2019, through Relapse Records. This is the band's first material since their previous album ''Restarter'', released in 2015. The album was produced, engineered and mixed by longtime bassist Jonathan Nuñez and is the first to feature Eric Hernandez on bass guitar after former guitarist Andrew Elstner's departure in November 2016. Julie Buxbaum (born 1977) is an American people, American lawyer, and novelist, who specializes in young adult novels. Her first two novels were written for adults, but Buxbaum has told interviewers she enjoys writing for a younger audience to connect with the sense of freedom open to younger readers. Buxbaum's undergraduate degree is from the University of Pennsylvania, and she earned her Juris Doctor, J.D. degree at Harvard Law School. Admissible evidence, in a court of law, is any testimonial, documentary, or tangible evidence that may be introduced to a factfinder—usually a judge or jury—to establish or to bolster a point put forth by a party to the proceeding.
