History

The first written mention of Zálezlice is from the beginning of the 13th century. The municipality was badly damaged during the
2002 European floods In August 2002, a week of intense rainfall produced flooding across a large portion of Europe. It reached the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Ukraine and Russia. The event killed 232 ...

There are no railways or major roads passing through the municipality.


Sights

The main landmark of Zálezlice is the Church of Saint Nicholas. It is a late Baroque building from the second half of the 18th century. The church includes a Baroque mortuary.
