The seat of the municipality is the town of Cerklje na Gorenjskem.Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It includes the hamlets of Zgornji Zalog (german: Obersalog), Srednji Zalog (german: Mittersalog), Spodnji Zalog (german: Untersalog), Zgornja Trata, and Spodnja Trata.
