Lawsuits for defamation and insult

A confirmed blogger himself, Jégo prosecuted two blogs for defamation and insult. In 2007, he sued Frédéric Maupin and Jean-Luc Pujo, who called him a "liar" and "manipulator" during the 2007 legislative campaign. His suit was dismissed in November 2007 (confirmed by the Paris appeal court in July 2009). In 2008, he sued a local opponent, Yves Poey, who called him an "apparatchik" and a "schemer" during the local elections campaign.
