Sunners was an occasional contributor to '' Word Ways: The Journal of Recreational Linguistics''. William Sunners' claim to fame was his 1983 appearance on Late Night With David Letterman. During this appearance, he was nervous and forgot half of the phrases and things he was supposed to say.
