International career

Lucas began studying the transverse flute at the age of 8 at the . In 1981 joined the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMDP) as first appointed. In 1984 he was awarded the Prague International Radio Competition. (Concertino Praga). From 1984, he was a flutist for 5 years with the

Lucas has been teaching at the (CRR) as main professor since 1999. He has also been teaching at the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMDP) since 1995 as assistant professor. Every year he teaches at the Académie internationale d'été de Nice. In addition he gives master classes in France and in the world notably in Germany, England, Denmark, Serbia, Italy, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, United States. Finally, he is
