Verdi Township is a township in Lincoln County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 240 at the 2000 census.


History

The township is named both for the Italian operatic composer

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 38.6 square miles (99.9 km), all land. The community of Verdi is located in the southern part of the township.


Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there were 240 people, 87 households, and 70 families residing in the township. The population density was 6.2 people per square mile (2.4/km). There were 94 housing units at an average density of 2.4/sq mi (0.9/km).
