Future developments

Future phases of development at the Sports Centre are being discussed and may include indoor and outdoor tennis courts and a swimming pool. On 2 April 2019 the University announced that it is currently taking steps to expand its West Cambridge site, which will include a swimming pool and indoor tennis courts. The new sports facilities will a stone's throw away from the new Eddington development, which has been constructed on the North West Cambridge site, near Huntingdon Road. The plans are still in the early stages of development. The next phase of the project will be drawing up sketches of what the building itself could look like before public consultation.
