Ujjal Narayan Sinha was the
Chief Justice of
Patna High Court from 5 September 1970 to 29 September 1972. He was also the acting
Governor of Bihar from 21 January to 31 January 1971.

The Chasnala mining disaster was a disaster that happened on 27 December 1975 in a coal mine in Chasnala near Dhanbad in the Indian state of Jharkhand. An explosion in the mine followed by :en:Flooded mines, flooding killed 375 miners.
