History

The municipality Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel was founded on 1 July 2002 by a voluntary fusion of the municipalities Beutelsdorf, Dorndorf, Engerda, Kirchhasel, Niederkrossen, Rödelwitz, Schloßkulm, Schmieden, Teichweiden, Uhlstädt and Zeutsch, which were independent before this fusion.
