. She soon was renamed ''Laurena''. In 1901, James Harkness sold her to Oscar Lipton of New York City, and she later operated under the name ''Maysie''. By 1917, ''Maysie'' was the property of M. C. Schweinert. In 1917, the U.S. Navy acquired ''Maysie'' from Schweinert for use as a section patrol boat during World War I. She was commissioned as USS ''Maysie'' (SP-930) on 19 February 1918.
