History

The harbor was constructed between 1869 and 1873 at the initiative of H.P. Prior, a co-founder of

Redevelopment

As part of the redevelopment of the Tuborg site, the old harbor was extended with a new canal that connects the harbour basin with Strandvejen. The northern part of the area, known as Tuborg Nord (Tuborg North), has been developed according to a masterplan developed by C. F. Møller Architects. The first phase of the project was completed between 1988 and 1993 and the second phase in 1996-1997. The area has been redeveloped into a mixed-use neighbourhood. Marina

Tuborg Havn has mooring space for approximately 450 leisure craft. The water depth is 5.5 metres in the outer basin and 4.5 metres in the inner basin.
