enzyme with
systematic name ''geranyl-diphosphate diphosphate-lyase (cyclizing; tricyclene-forming)''.
This enzyme
catalyses the following
chemical reaction

geranyl diphosphate tricyclene +
diphosphate
The enzyme from ''
Solanum lycopersicum'' (
tomato) gives a mixture of tricyclene,
camphene,
beta-myrcene and
limonene.
