Fatalities
To date there have been two fatalities on the race:
* Chinese driver Xu Lang, June 17 (from injuries sustained a day earlier)
* French motorcyclist Philippe Tonin, June 17
The latter fatality led the Russian
Kamaz team to withdraw.
